The bonefish in Ascension Bay do not bear counting and the tarpon in Laguna Santa Rosa are here year round. AND It is said that Ascension Bay has the largest population of permit in the world.  It could be said that the Yucatan offers the finest saltwater flats fishing in the world and Casa Blanca could not be more perfectly situated or equipped to fish for bonefish, permit and tarpon.

Casa Blanca is the only lodge in the Yucatan, actually located in Ascension Bay, Casa Blanca's convenient location and top of the line Dolphin Skiffs with 40hp Yamaha outboards,  provide anglers the quickest boat rides to the most productive flats and rivers in all of Ascension Bay.  We are the first on the flats and the last off.  Anglers will get a full day of fishing at Casa Blanca.

Casa Blanca guides are among the finest fly fishing guides in the world.  Many of the guides have been with Managing Partner, Bobby Settles for over 10 years others have been with Bobby for over 20 years!  No guides have more time on the waters of Ascension Bay than Casa Blanca guides.  For example: Don Pedro has been fishing Ascension Bay for over 35 years.  Let's say he fished a minimum of 100 days a year for 35 years that would be.... 3,500 days on the water in Ascension Bay.  Holy Moly.  Do you think Don Pedro might know a thing or two about fishing Ascension Bay?
